Just a mini update with what has been happening here at Hillyfield Rest Home over the last few months, and I apologise for no previous newsletters.

We now have a lovely cleaner called Rachael, who has previously worked in care homes, so is very knowledgeable and gets on with everybody.

We also have a new acting manager and that’s me, Emily. I will also be registering with CQC. I have worked in the care industry for over 5 years now, working my way up the ladder, starting off as a care assistant, senior care assistant and deputy manager. I will be here to answer and questions or concerns.

Jinet has stepped back up and is now the acting deputy manager and will be helping me with the day to day running of the home. Jinet is also here to answer any questions or concerns.

All the residents received an easter egg from the bunny which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Residents have been out on the bus, enjoying tea and cake at Otters Nursery with Sally and Steph.

Residents have enjoyed making posies with Nellie.

We also celebrated a couple of birthdays.
